The unending unstoppable Wicked whorl

The unending unstoppable Wicked whorl

-BG

Dragging the rag wrapped rotting foot

An ugly Hunched back with a wrinkled face

Shrunken eyes, crooked nose & broken teeth

Bristled and grey longish hair, scaled serpentine skin

Holding a form so undescriptive and strange

No shadow no halo, ho! does it really have a form?

No hunger no pain, no losses or gain

No religion nor race, No colour or creed

No age or time, No friend nor foe

In a never-ending forceful urge to Just always be on the gooooooooooo....................

A bundle of rags, coloured beads, & some cowrie shells

A tattered book of manic spells a mystic pendant dangling low

Few strange and scary magic stuff

A trident, a sickle edged shearing tool, and then ... Yes, a Crooked stick with the studded demon's skull

Faithfully Followed by a three-legged moustached toad

with ten green eyes and fully feathered too

Hoofed as a horse and winged as a vulture

Growling like a wolverine, the gait of a swine

And a serpent’s hood - So Very Strange?

The evils of night flee in fright

Hide in scattered hollows and caves

Vampires Goblins ghosts and trolls

Creatures of the night - owls and wolfs

The nasty stench of rotting hopes and dreams -

Erie murmurs, horrifying wailing

Thunder and lightning tearing the skies

A pall of horror and terrifying gusty winds

All this; and all this fill the air

Ageless ugly evil and horrible

Timeless travel through time and land

Seeding sorrow and reaping lives and souls

Leaving soulless bodies to waste and rot

Making the bodiless souls to aimlessly drift

Neither heaven nor hell - no salvation at all

Moving from pole to pole

East to west and north to south

Cold to hot, hill and dale

Enjoying this evil and obscene act

Again, and again and again

Over and over, over and on

The stunned moon and the clouds in a stupor

The horizon praying for the waking of dawn

Yes, yes - be very sure -

this too, this too - Will surely pass

The day will be back the night dead again

New hopes of spring will surely bloom

All mysterious and a never-ending whorl!!

Death

Death is a mystic Death is a mystic whom everyone knows and everyone knows not too but certainly, death will for you one day come Walking in from nowhere or when expected least and walking away when expected most wanted or unwanted its entry is for sure Some are scared, some are not Some are there who want to dare  Some others out there prefer not to talk  Some die on their beds, at home some die in faraway lands unknown  Some on the sands, some on the shores Some in the water or in the skies  some on the rocks, others die doing their jobs But all die that's for certain and sure   After death, the rituals, the mourning and all then the corpse is buried or burned the crowd will disperse and dissolve but the memories linger to deliver pain The near and dear will live on with flashes and fragments of memories of the gone slowly as the time passes on The person departed and all the memories are gone the muted past a vague memory hazy remembrances of the d...
